Meek Mill Says Drake Collaboration Is Possible

Meek Mill Says Drake Collaboration Is Possible

Following interviews with “The Breakfast Club” and Angie Martinez, Meek sat down with Hot 97. Speaking with “Ebro in the Morning,” the Philadelphia MC said he isn’t ruling out a collaboration.

“It’s possible. Everything is possible,” he explained. “I ain’t got no hate towards him and I don’t believe he got hate towards me. When I was in the situation, I seen in the media…he said ‘Free Meek Mill.’ That was when I’m at my down point, where I don’t really got anything going with music. A lot of people can say, ‘He wants to attach with what’s going on.’ I don’t really care about that. Before we had a little rap issue, I knew him as a person, and he supported.”

Recently, Meek told “The Breakfast Club” that he hadn’t spoken with Drake just yet. “I ain’t talk to him yet,” he said. “I seen him on FaceTime the other day…It was good energy. He put good energy in the air. What happened happened. We moved past that. I think we’ll have a conversation or something when we see each other and keep it moving in life.

Mill hasn’t worked on a lot of new music yet, but he did share a freestyle on the show. “I was headed to the slammer, I was planting all the seeds for them to bury me,” he rapped in a quick verse. “I had my whole family mad at me / Fell deep in love with the game and it married me / Judge said ‘I’ll give you a chance, just don’t embarrass me’ / Motivating these young ni**as is like a charity.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Meek spoke on Kanye West and his ongoing legal issues. He also said his next project will feature plenty of jewels and lessons from his life. Watch the full interview below.
